Fundraising
2022-23 Empowering Extraordinary Individual and Family Giving Campaign begins September 6!
Family and Individual gifts to the Empowering Extraordinary Campaign make up half of the total funds raised to support the Sedgefield Middle School PTO. These donations are an important way for families and individuals in the community to support the academic and enrichment needs of students and educators. Financial donations are welcome and appreciated at any time throughout the year but the individual and family giving campaign officially kicks off on September 6, 2022 with a goal to meet fundraising targets by September 30, 2022. This year our goal is $50,000.
Past campaigns have funded projects for 7th grade social studies, art and band resources, 6th grade science curriculum, purchased our “Sparty” Mascot costume and so much more. Here are some school needs that this year’s campaign will support:
- Helping our teachers grow in responsive practices to best support our students
- Outdoor seating (including a sunshade for the stadium) and continued beautification projects
- Event support – stage curtains for the multiuse cafeteria / auditorium
- Additional seating to support school-wide events and arts (band, drama, etc.) we have to limit attendance because of seating
ATTENTION: In order to ensure that all Empowering Extraordinary donations are documented, tracked, and received, we ask that donors complete a pledge form AND submit their payment via the Cheddar Up online platform (either by eCheck, credit card, or bank card).

If donating online is not an option, please hand deliver your paper check to the front office or contact one of the campaign chairs. If your check is coming from a donor-advised fund, please submit a pledge on Cheddar Up and you will receive a receipt via email when it arrives.
